For “Texte zur Kunst“ Cerith Wyn Evans has conceived a work entitled “Light trespass (100 Brightest Stars/100 Footnotes – “The Day at Florbelle“ by D.A.F. Sade),“ 2007. It consists of a costumary light bulb (150 W), each featuring a five digit numeral code applied by hand and a numbered and signed certificate at a size of 29,7 x 21 cm. On this inkjet print certificate in DIN A4-format the corresponding code of a star’s name is deciphered and combined with a footnote from the English version of the text “Les journées de Florbelle“ by the Marquis de Sade. The work comes in an edition of 100 + 20 APs and costs 245,– Euro (without frame) plus shipping.
