Jeff Wall, has repeatedly described his artistic practice as a questioning of the „peinture de la vie moderne“ by photographic means. By the end of the 1970s the artist gained international recognition his works in light boxes. For his special artist’s edition for „Texte zur Kunst“ Jeff Wall produced a set of four silver gelantin prints entitled „Corner Store“, 2009, in which he experiments with the format of a prosaic reportage, capturing the poetics and atmosphere of a specific site.
For „Texte zur Kunst“ Jeff Wall has produced a set of four silver gelantin prints entitled „Corner Store“, 2009. Each of the signed and numbered photographs measures 35 × 28 cm (with a motif size of 18 × 18 cm). The work comes in an edition of 50 + 20 APs and costs 2.000,– Euro plus shipping.
