Tagesrechnung (2004)

HANNE DARBOVEN, born in 1941 in Munich, studied painting in Munich, lived in New York from 1966-68, and today lives in Hamburg. She is famous for having developed her own methods and systems to make visible her understanding of time, writing, music, mathematics, and cultural history in her conceptual art: drawings of geometrical lines, rows of numbers, and collages. A comprehensive overview of her work, consisting of calendars, music scores, books, films, concerts and installations was shown at documenta 11.

The special edition entitled "Tagesrechnung", which Hanne Darboven made for Texte zur Kunst, is a digital print with an original postcard glued on. It measures 29.5 x 21 cm. It is an edition of 30 + 10 ap's, signed and numbered.
