Artwork for Jack too Jack's 'You Were Toung Once' (2006)

In his installations British video and sound artist MARK LECKEY deals with aspects of pop- and subcultural memories. The aesthetic disposition of his sujets is reflected in a deliberately low key artistic style, the use of simple technical media and the production of an atmospheric arrangement of images and sounds. The London-based artist, born 1964, received his BA from the Newcastle Polytech in 1990. As a member of the band "Jack too Jack", Leckey plays an important role in London's music scene. Since 2005 he has been a professor at the Städelschule in Frankfurt.

For "Texte zur Kunst" Leckey conceived a four part photo series entitled "Artwork for Jack too Jack 'You Were Toung Once'". Each of the four images measures 30 x 40 cm. The work is signed and numbered on the back. It is an edition of 100 + 20 AP's and costs 245,- Euro plus shipping.
